Have you ever asked yourself, “what is my purpose?”
What a loaded question sheesh! But one that I think we all ask ourselves throughout our lives and maybe on a regular basis.
So how do you figure that shit out?
Well, this is where our coaches in our new Empowered Connections Coaching program, come in.
Here are some purpose themes we have noticed with our clients:
First, we have discovered that there’s a difference energetically and emotionally that can help you differentiate between a calling (purpose) and a job/career.
A calling/purpose/mission will feel like a strong PULL towards something. So, it could be you feel an unexplainable pull towards fostering animals, helping older people, teaching, gardening, women’s issues (that’s mine!), etc…
Working in your career will feel a little different (unless you’re lucky enough to be making a career of your passion and in that case YASSS) and that is a PUSH towards a goal. Generally, it will feel like slogging some days, hard work most days, and will leave you feeling depleted and drained after a long-ass week.
If you’re working in a job that pays the bills but doesn’t fill you up, then each day can feel like a week. How do you know if you’re in the wrong place?
You feel tired, drained, BORED (this is a big one), and just overarching blahhhh. You wonder most days if there is anything better out there, and maybe you look regularly, but you’re afraid to make a change.
We get it! We’ve all been there, and we understand how exhausting this can be!
Every human on this planet has a mission and a soul’s purpose. It doesn’t necessarily have to be a huge mission like curing cancer or eradicating poverty, BUT your purpose is no less important.
Maybe your purpose is to raise smart, kind, compassionate children who will change the course of our world.
Or your purpose is to create beauty around you through gardening for yourself or others.
Your purpose could be to inspire others to do better by doing better yourself, every day through volunteering or advocating for a cause that is close to your heart.
Sometimes just loving the hell out of those in your circle, can be a satisfying mission.
We encourage you to spend some time thinking about what YOUR purpose is. If you need help figuring this out, you aren’t alone.
If you’ve ever asked yourself, “what is my purpose?,” we got you! You can schedule with us any time of the day or night, right here. We look forward to working with you in figuring out your soul’s purpose.
