About Reilly Mercier MSW, LMSW
Community Outreach Coordinator
Seeing girls starting at 12 years old, young women, and members of the LGBTQ+ community in person or virtually to residents of Maryland

Background And Education
Reilly has lived in Southern Maryland for majority of her life and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in social work from University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) and holds a Master of Science in social work degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
Supporting Girls, Women, And Life Transitions
Reilly has a passion for walking alongside girls and women who are navigating life’s largest obstacles and transitions. Whether it be a shift in identity, change in relationships, career uncertainty, loss, or becoming a parent, she understands these things can be overwhelming and believes they aren’t meant to be tackled alone. Reilly aims to provide a grounded and empathetic presence for anyone who may feel lost or stuck in life.
Reilly has experience in perinatal mental health and has helped mothers and families navigate parenthood from the delivery room to her therapy chair. She understands that parenthood is one of the most beautiful, yet challenging experiences life has to offer, and she is prepared to help women who are navigating motherhood and looking to “get their pink back.”
As a young woman herself, Reilly understands how hard growing up and figuring yourself out can be. From her professional work and personal experience, Reilly knows how difficult it is to navigate everything life throws at you, and she is excited to walk alongside you and support you through it all.
Approach To Therapy
With a warm and nonjudgmental approach, Reilly helps clients make sense of their experiences, reconnect with their inner strengths, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence. Reilly believes that feeling lost can be an invitation to grow—and that no one should have to face life’s hardest moments alone.
Reilly takes a collaborative, person-centered approach rooted in empathy, curiosity, and respect for each person’s unique story. Drawing from modalities such as emotionally focused therapy (EFT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI) and mindfulness-based practices, she tailors sessions to support girls and women in finding clarity and healing.
Outside The Therapy Room
When Reilly isn’t working, she is spending time with her husband and cats or looking for her next place to travel to!
