Anna Cornell | Practice Manager
We believe “where your story is our story,” and for our Practice Manager, Anna, that rings especially true. With a heart rooted in her Italian heritage and the joy of family – including her husband, two adult sons, a devoted dog, and three very mischievous cats – Anna brings that same warmth and care to our practice.
Anna’s experience and dedication are essential in ensuring our community feels supported from the moment they walk through our doors. As we continue to grow and empower women, girls, and the LGBTQ+ community, Anna plays a key role in providing a seamless and nurturing experience for each individual seeking our services.

Jamie Lewis | Administrative Goddess
Hailing from Mobile, Alabama, Jamie is a recent transplant to Southern Maryland, and determined to be a bright spot in her new community. With over a decade in experience with client relations, she brings her passion for connecting people with the help they need to the Empowered Connections family. With a deep affection for the LGBTQ+ community and a desire to shine a light on the forgotten, she adds a personal touch to her position as our Administrative Goddess.

Meet Our Therapy Dog Team
Bailee | Mascot & Therapy dog
Our mascot and therapy dog Bailee is a 11 year old Welsh Pembroke Corgi. She loves lounging, car rides, pettings and Starburst but she hates brushing, baths and bananas (weird). Bailee also loves to accompany Deborah to the office providing love and affection if needed by clients. She is from an Amish family in Pennsylvania but enjoys living in the Atlanta area with her family and 12 year old Corgi brother, Toby.
Cooper | Therapy Dog
My name is Cooper the Corgi. I am an official therapy dog who loves making new friends. I enjoy making sure people are pawsative and being their best human self. I enjoy making people smile. I enjoy belly rubs and just cuddling with friends to support them however they need. I enjoy playing Uno, helping with therapy sessions and taking naps on squish mellows. I love meeting new friends and will warm your heart with my puppy eyes.
