Seeing teen girls ages 15 to 18 and adult women
Donna is a clinically trained licensed social worker in Maryland. Donna believes the key to successful therapy is finding a therapist that is the right fit for you! It is so important to connect with your therapist and feel comfortable as you explore your deepest thoughts. Donna’s trauma-informed background makes providing a safe place to talk about personal issues a top priority. She has worked in various mental health settings including non-profit agencies, and both inpatient and outpatient care facilities. Within these settings, Donna has supported children, adolescents, adults, and families.
Donna loves working with women and adolescent girls who are dealing with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, body issues, empowerment, grief, trauma, perfectionism, infertility, postpartum, daily stressors/organization, and life transitions.
Donna works with her clients in a collaborative way. During each session, she will actively listen without judgment and support you through your hard work to feel your best self. You are not alone. It is a true honor for Donna to be part of this process!
In addition, Donna sees her clients through a humanistic lens, which means she feels everyone has innate unique strengths and abilities to achieve their goals. Life throws you curveballs often, and obstacles come up blocking you from reaching these goals at times. With compassion, warmth, and a little bit of humor, Donna helps you explore these roadblocks.
